***How do you know if you are prediabetic?

This handy chart tells you about the blood sugar or glucose levels that mark a normal range, prediabetic and full diabetes. Other clues that you could be prediabetic include:
• being overweight with a BMI of 24 or more,
• having gestational diabetes mellitus, or giving birth to a baby who weighed more than 9 pounds,
• Being physically active less than 3 times a week,
• a family history of diabetes,
• Having polycystic ovary syndrome.

A blood test ordered by the doctor will give you the final answer. Read more about the blood test here.
